1. Can I burn inside the Alabaster city limits?

All burning in the city of Alabaster requires a burn permit from the Alabaster Fire Department Fire Marshal’s Office.

The Fire Marshal or an inspector can be contacted by phone at 205-664-6823.

2. Can I have my blood pressure checked at the Firehouses?

Yes! Personnel are available to take blood pressure measurements and help you track your blood pressure.

3. Can I have my child’s safety seat installed or checked at the Firehouses?

Yes! Alabaster Fire Department has certified Child Safety Seat Technicians at each Firehouse who are available to assist you with your safety seat. Appointments are preferred, please contact the fire administration office at 205-621-8752.

4. Does the Alabaster Fire Department assist with smoke alarms?
