Helping Hands Club

Albert L. Scott Library Posted on February 05, 2026

The library is looking for 3rd-6th grade students who love to read and want to volunteer at the library on a regular basis!

The Helping Hands Club gives older kids the chance to make a difference while having fun at the library! Members support our Reads & Deeds programs by helping with story time, assisting younger participants, and taking part in meaningful, hands-on service projects that benefit our community. Along the way, kids learn empathy, teamwork, and leadership—all while sharing their love of books. Helping Hands Club members may also be invited to participate in future volunteer opportunities at the library.
