The city's Independence Day fireworks show will be this Saturday, July 2, at Thompson High School! The event will open at 6 p.m., and will feature food trucks, games, bounce houses and more. The fireworks show will begin at 9 p.m. and will last about 15 minutes.

The City of Alabaster administrative offices will be closed on Tuesday July 5th in observance of Independence Day. We will be back on regular business hours on Wednesday July 6th.
GARBAGE NOTICE - All household trash service will be delayed one day starting on Tuesday. Curbside wood and waste debris will be delayed until the next week.

Thank you to state Sen. April Weaver for presenting a $2,000 state literacy grant to Albert L. Scott Library Director Kim Roberts on June 28! The grant will be used to purchase additional seating in the library.
