Due to the serious nature of COVID-19, everyone needs to continue practicing social distancing of at least 6 feet. Also, please continue to wash your hands. If you're sick, please be respectful of those around you and stay home.

The following is an amended list of the status of Parks and Recreation facilities in the City of Alabaster effective May 9th until further notice:

OPEN during normal operating hours - ALL City Parks including:
Athletic Fields and Batting Cages / All Pavilions (Pavilions will be available for rent; however, groups will be expected to adhere to the social distancing guidelines) / All Playgrounds and Equipment / Basketball Courts / Tennis Courts / All Restrooms with the exclusion of Abbey Wooley Park Restrooms which are currently closed for renovations / Skate Park / Dog Park / Green Spaces and Walking Tracks and Trails.

OPEN as of May 11th at 8:00 AM: Parks and Recreation Office (205-664-6840).

CLOSED to the Public: Senior Center (205-663-1307). There are Staff Members available to assist you by phone.

Youth Football, Flag Football, Cheer: Registration has been delayed until further notice.

The Governor's Health Order has lifted the limit on non-work gatherings; however, she continues to recommend non-family physical distancing of at least six feet.

Please continue to do your part to help those around you stay healthy and safe.
